I’m adding a Part Two to my Forgiveness blog, because I forgot to mention this point.
Forgiving the one, who shattered your heart and soul, does not mean you have to go be BFF with this person. It doesn’t mean you have to talk to this person. It doesn’t mean you have to have any kind of relationship with them.
And you forgiving doesn’t mean you have to Forget what they did.
Forgiving is about YOU.
You letting go of the anger. Letting go of the Pain. Letting go of the past.
Forgiving allows you the Freedom from the person, who hurt you, by CHOOSING to not let who they are, what they did and how they continue to behave CONTROL you and your life.
